About

Bofan Yu is a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher and thesis-based M.S. student in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University, supervised by Xing-Dong Yang. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, and previously worked as a software engineer at Vaisala Canada Inc.

His research bridges physical sensing and AI-based intention modeling to support intention-aware interaction in the physical world, with current work spanning sensor-powered smart environments, smart vehicle cabins, privacy, and interactive systems.
